Join us on Saturday, February 4 for a charity game event! We’re raising money for 9-year old Portsmouth-resident Ciara, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in December 2016, to assist with the increased financial demands of her treatment. Her family is bearing many financial burdens during this time, such as medical bills, traveling costs, and groceries. We are asking for a $5 suggested donation per person to participate in this event. We understand that our game events are always free, but all donations will go directly to Ciara’s family. Her family is also looking for assistance with fuel and food costs, and we will gladly accept donations of gas and grocery cards on their behalf.

Diversions will donate 10% of sales on Saturday, February 4 to the cause.

All day gaming from 12:00pm to midnight
We’ll have room for over 50 people to play all day! Bring your games from home to share or grab any of our demos and have fun. We will have designated spaces to store your game bags.

Colt Express Tournament at 4:00pm
Come play in a tournament for Colt Express for the chance to win a railroad play mat and a cardboard train station to enrich your experience every time you play the game! Each player will play in four consecutive games, each game timed at 30 minutes. At the end of the tournament the total loot taken across all of your games will be added up to determine your final score.

The first-place player overall will receive a railroad play mat and a new copy of Colt Express. The second-place player overall will receive a railroad play mat. The top 4 players will each receive a cardboard train station and every player will receive an alternate set of “cursed” loot tokens. Entry for the event is $5 per person and each person may sign up on the day of the event. All collected fees will be donated to Ciara’s family.

Customer Used Game Sale from 10:00am to 8:00pm
Our used game sale is the perfect opportunity to make room on your shelves for new games! Bring your games to Diversions and we’ll sell them for you. All sales will be transferred into store credit to the seller.
Please read the following conditions to participate:
•Please bring your games to Diversions no later than February 2 at 9:00pm and complete the required form. All games must be in new, “like new,” or very good condition with no missing components. All used games will be sold as is and cannot be returned for any reason.
•You may set your own price for each game but all used game sales must be facilitated by Diversions and the payout will be provided to sellers in store credit only. Used games may not be sold directly for cash during this event.
•Any used games not sold during this event must be taken back by the seller no later than February 11. Sellers may leave their used games with Diversions to consider for trade-in, but the timeframe to review may be extended due to increased volume. Please anticipate a 2- to 3-week turnaround for trade-in review.
•Store credit will be applied in the form of a gift card to Diversions and will be available for pick up beginning Sunday, February 5 at 10:00am.
