This is a Swiss-style tournament, played in Best-of-3 format. Each round is 50-minutes in length. The number of rounds in the tournament will depend on the number of attendees. Playoff rounds will be played after the Swiss rounds including players with the highest standings. The playoffs are best-of-3, single-elimination rounds until one undefeated player is remaining as the tournament champion.

Full prizing of $1,000 will be awarded in store credit with a minimum player count of 20 people. Prizing will be decreased with fewer players, and increased with more than 20 players! Store credit will be applied to your Diversions account and is valid at all 3 locations (Portsmouth, Somersworth, S. Portland)

1st place: $300 store credit
2nd place: $200 store credit
3rd & 4th place: $100 store credit
5th-8th: $75 store credit

This tournament is in the Constructed (Core) format. Each player must bring one deck to the event which they have built ahead of time. Constructed decks must contain at least 60 cards. There is no maximum deck size, but a player must be able to shuffle their deck in a timely manner without assistance. Constructed decks must not contain cards from more than two ink colors. For example, if a deck contains Amber and Amethyst cards, it must not contain any Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, or Steel cards. Constructed decks must not contain more than four of a single card as identified by its full English card name. Character cards with different subtitles are considered different cards for purposes of this rule. For example, a deck may contain up to four copies of Ariel – On Human Legs as well as up to four copies of Ariel – Spectacular Singer. All released cards are legal for this event. You must use the same deck for the duration of the event. Deck list submission will be required. Please submit a hardcopy of your deck list during registration.
