Come put your LEGO skills to the test in this competitive building contest!

Entry is $20/team, payable in person on the day of the event.

How it Works:

Teams of 1-2 people will compete against each other to see whose LEGO building skills stack up. The teams will each be given the same amount and assortment of LEGO pieces. Over the course of two hours the teams will receive 4 mystery prompts all centered around one theme. The theme for this event will be transportation. Teams will have 15 minutes to complete a build based on the prompt for that round, followed by time for judging, viewing others work, and short breaks. Judging for this event will be done by a Diversions team member and will be on a 1-10 scale of three categories for each build:

Stability – How well the build holds up

Style – How well the build fits the theme of that rounds prompt

Uniqueness – The diversity of pieces and techniques used in the build

The final scores will be tallied from the total aggregate scores from each round with prizes being given out to the top 3 teams.
