You can be a champion! Join us on Saturday, January 10, 2026 for a Star Wars: Unlimited Planetary Qualifier! This tournament starts at 10:00am. This is a sanctioned competitive-level event. The event will allow a maximum of 46 players.

Players must purchase a ticket on Eventbrite to register ($42.00 + Eventbrite fees). Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, November 5 at 10:00am ET. Your Melee.gg e-mail address will be required upon purchase. You can set a reminder through this link:

Players will be added to the Melee tournament page by the organizer after purchasing their ticket. Ticket cancellations/refunds will be permitted through Friday, January 9. Eventbrite fees cannot be refunded. There will be no refunds after January 9.

Check-in is on the day of the event, Saturday January 10 from 9:00-9:45am. Two identical decklists must be submitted at check-in. They must be typed & printed. No handwritten decklists. Please ensure decklists are fully completed.

>>Format<<

This is a Swiss-style tournament, played in Best-of-3 format. Each round is 55-minutes in length. Top cut/playoff rounds will be played after the Swiss rounds including the players with the highest standings. The playoffs are best-of-3, single-elimination rounds until one undefeated player is remaining as the tournament champion. Each top cut round is 75 minutes.

With 46 players, there will be six (6) Swiss rounds & Top 8 playoff cut.

There will be a lunch break between rounds three and four.

The following prize structure is based on a full turnout of 46 players. The prizing is separated into official prizing & pack prizing. The pack prizing will scale with fewer players.

Official prizing:
All players: One (1) non-foil participation promo card
Top 8/4/2/1: Foil placement-stamped promo card
Top 8: Qualifier points for Season One championship series
1st place: Champion playmat, invite to Galactic Championship Summer 2026

Booster pack prizing (with full turnout):
All players: Three (3) SEC booster packs
1st & 2nd: Two (2) SEC booster displays
3rd-8th: One (1) SEC booster display
1st-16th: One (1) SEC Carbonite pack

>>Deck rules<<

Your deck must consist of exactly one leader, exactly one base, and a minimum 50-card draw deck. You can also have a sideboard of up to 10 non-leader, non-base cards. Your draw deck cannot include more than three copies of any one card.

Two identical decklists must be submitted upon check-in at the tournament.
