Takenoko is a set collection game set in Ancient Japan. The Emperor has been gifted a baby panda by China, and this cute lil’ bear set to eat every bamboo stalk in the Royal Garden! Each turn, players will perform two of five actions in order to complete hidden objectives for either the Panda (by eating certain kinds of bamboo), the Gardner (for keeping the bamboo healthy and tall), or the Emperor (arranging certain garden tiles to please the Emperor). But be careful – the Weather Die gets rolled every turn, and things can get wild! The first to complete a certain amount of objectives ends the game, and the player with the most points wins!

Takenoko accommodates 2-4 players, is recommended for 8+ and plays in ~45 minutes.
