SUMMARY:Used Game Sale
DESCRIPTION:Our used game sale is the perfect opportunity to make room on your shelves for new games! Bring your games to Diversions and we’ll put them out for sale on September 14 and 15. All sales will be transferred into store credit to the seller! Please read the following conditions to sell your games: \n• Please bring your used games to Diversions between Friday\, August 23 and Sunday\, September 8 with the completed form (see link below). All games must be in new\, “like new\,” or very good condition with no missing components. \n• You may set your own price for each game but all used game sales must be facilitated by Diversions and the payout will be provided to sellers in store credit only. Used games may not be sold directly for cash during this event. \n• Any used games not sold during this event must be taken back by the seller no later than Friday\, September 27. Diversions will not be holding any games for trade-in credit. Any games not claimed by this date will be disposed at Diversions’ discretion. \n• Store credit will be applied in the form of a gift card to Diversions and will be available for pick up beginning Tuesday\, September 17 along with any unsold games. \n• All used games will be sold as is and cannot be returned for any reason. \nClick this link for the used game sale form. SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly Sunday booster draft event for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event by Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play. \nEntry for the event is $15.00\, three boosters and prize support. All players must have a DCI card\, which you can register for upon signing up. Please arrive 30 minutes early to register. The event lasts for four 45 minute rounds after drafting. \nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands. Basic lands are provided. \nAfter deckbuilding\, the players are randomly matched up against an opponent and play a best two out of three games match. Players are awarded points for winning and will be matched against equally skilled players in the subsequent rounds. At the end of the tournament\, booster packs or store credit are rewarded to the top half of the players. \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. Candy and drinks are available in the store for purchase. You may bring your own food but please dispose of your trash properly. Thank you!
