SUMMARY:Used Board Game Sale
DESCRIPTION:The Used Board Game Sale will take place all weekend long\, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday\, and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. \nAnyone who has something in their personal libraries that they’re looking to trade out for something new will be able to bring it to the shop\, set the price they’d like to sell it for\, then browse all of the games that others have brought in and find something new. Once you have dropped off your games at the store they cannot be picked up until after the sale\, make sure you’re ready to say goodbye! \nAny game that you bring in that is sold will earn you store credit equal to the price you set for it. Want to sell a copy of Catan for $10.00? If someone buys it\, you’ll get $10.00 in Diversions store credit. Store credit will be issued by Wednesday\, October 16th in a lump sum. If you sell $50.00 worth of games over the course of the weekend\, you’ll get a single gift card worth $50.00. \nThere is no limit to the number of games any one person can put up for sale. Any titles that did not sell over the weekend will be set aside and should be picked up by Friday\, October 18th. \nTo make things easy\, an ‘Entry Sheet’ can be found here: \nhttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1GjCEm8BkHQbzDg2iRJ57RKCAnpX8JRYp-FHHnp7uBf4/edit?usp=sharing \nHard copies of the form will also be available in the shop for those that need them. This form has all of the information that we will need from people looking to sell some games. On this sheet you’ll need to include your name\, some contact information\, the games that you’ll bring in to sell and how much you’d like to charge for them\, and a signature line stating that all of the pieces for each game that you’re bringing are all accounted for. After you’ve filled out the sheet\, bring it into the store with all of the games that you’re selling so that we can organize them and prep them for the sale. \nWe will start accepting used games on Tuesday\, September 17th\, and the cutoff for bringing in games is Friday\, October 4th. We will not be accepting games prior to\, or after these dates. A couple of days before the event\, we shall post a list of all of the games available for sale on our social media so that all you shoppers can prep accordingly. \nWe do get a long line of guests waiting at the door in the morning\, so if you’re looking for that specific game\, you might want to be here early! We will not be reserving any used games\, and coupons\, store credit\, or other discounts are not eligible to be used on these items.

SUMMARY:Tournament: 7 Wonders Duel
DESCRIPTION:This is a free event\, and the game is quick and fun to learn so if you’ve never played\, hang out before the tournament and play a game or 2. \nTournament starts at 12pm. How we do this tournament depends on the number of competitors. It will most likely be a 3 round Round Robin tournament\, and if there are a large number of players\, it will turn into a bracket from there. \nExample of tournament: If there are 8 players\, we will have a 3 round tournament\, where players will try to win as many rounds as they can. From there the top 4 performing players will create an elimination bracket\, where we will do a semi finals\, and then a final match. \nThe top 2 players will each get an exclusive bag of metal coins.\nWe also have 6 metal military tokens\, and multiple promo wonder cards to give out to players.

Their infamous Chits and Bits Board will be in attendance\, attempt to guess which games the pieces come from to win prizes. All proceeds benefit the The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center\, Chits and Bits is closing in on their $30\,000 fundraising goal for the year\, let’s help them get the rest of the way! \nAt 12pm\, high noon\, we will be running a 7 Wonders Duel tournament. We have exclusive promos for the game for the person who can lead the most effective civilizations and claim victory at the tournament! We also have additional promos to give to all who participate 🙂 \nAt 3pm we will have an Arboretum tournament. Autumn is upon us and let’s celebrate with putting together the most pleasing tree arrangements. SUMMARY:Weekly KeyForge Open Play
DESCRIPTION:We want to step up our number of Keyforge events\, and it occured to us that a lot of players have their favorite decks\, however they don’t get to play with them often enough. Our goal is to gather a community of players\, find a day that works for many of them\, and get them together more often to play. \nThere will be a large Archon tournament at the end of every month\, as well as an occasional pop up Sealed Event every once in a while\, so keep checking on our events. \nFor open play\, we will have players keep track of their games played using these sheets: https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/75/78/7578dec4-bbc3-45fb-9c95-1450be2bb41f/g19k1_digitalsignup_ffg.pdf \nEvery 3 games played\, you get a monthly promo card given to us from Fantasy Flight. These promos are usually alternatives to the tokens that are usually used with the game. \nOpen play will turn into occasional league play if/when we get enough recurring players. Leagues are open play mixed with tournaments\, where players buy in\, and we keep track of wins and losses throughout 3-4 weeks\, and the highest performing player(s) get prizes ranging from exclusive playmats to Diversions store credit.
