SUMMARY:Star Wars: Unlimited: Ashes of the Empire Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, August 6 at 5:30pm for a Star Wars Unlimited: Ashes of the Empire draft!\n\n\n>>Registration & Check-In<<Players are encouraged to sign-up on Melee.gg to secure a spot in the event.\nRegister here: https://melee.gg/Tournament/View/444461\n\nCheck-in will start one hour before the start of the event. The entry fee is $20. Three packs of Ashes of the Empire will be entered in the draft pool for each participant. For each player one additional pack will be entered into the prize pool.\n\n\n>>Format<<This is a Draft event. There will be one round of drafting from a pool of Ashes of the Empire packs\, followed by three rounds of Swiss-tournament play\, 55-minutes per round\, best-of-3.\n\nWhat is a Draft?\nFirst\, players sit around a table. Each player opens three booster packs and takes out the leader cards\, keeping the remaining cards of each pack in their separate stacks without looking at them. The same process is then repeated for regular cards until each player has drafted 45 cards (three leaders and 42 other cards). Players may then make adjustments to their decks\, following these rules: Decks must consist of exactly one leader\, exactly one base\, and a minimum 30-card draw deck. Each player can choose any of the common bases from the set\, or they can use a rare base that they drafted from the packs. Draw decks can include any number of copies of the same card.\n\n\n>>Prizing<<For each participant\, one Ashes of the Empire booster pack will be entered into the prize pool. Prizing will be distributed in order of standing.\n\n\nMetered parking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store\, Bridge Street Lot\, Foundry Garage\, or Hanover Garage. Please contact the store if you have any questions.
