SUMMARY:Cyberpunk TCG: Welcome to Night City Beta Prerelease
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special early preview of the upcoming Cyberpunk Trading Card Game on Friday\, September 18! We will be hosting a Beta Prerelease event for all interested players to learn and discover the game together.\n\n\n>>Registration & Check-In<<Interested players must register for the event on Melee (link below). An account on Melee.gg is required. Limit 16 players. Check-in begins 1 hour before the event starts. $34.99 is due at check-in to receive the Event Kit.\nRegister here: https://melee.gg/Tournament/View/464968\n\n\n>>Deckbuilding<<These Beta events are “sealed deck” format; players purchase a Cyberpunk TCG Beta Event Kit\, which includes everything they need to play in the event.\n\n6x Welcome to Night City Beta booster packs\n3x additional random Legend cards\n1x Beta Event promo card\, a Nova Rare “Mantis Blades”\n1x full set of Cyberpunk TCG polyhedral dice (d4\, d6\, d8\, d10\, d12\, d20)\n\nWhen the event begins\, players should open their Legends pack and all booster packs. They may also open their Nova Rare “Mantis Blades” if they wish to play with it in their deck (but they may choose to keep it sealed\, instead). Give players 30-60 minutes to construct a deck from the cards they open\, with these requirements:\n\nAt least 30x non-Legend cards (the “main deck”)\nThe player chooses up to 3 colors for their main deck\, and may only use cards in those 3 colors. (Ignore any RAM limits\, both value and color) The player is welcome to use as many copies of a card as they want in their main deck.\nExactly 3x Legend cards\nBeta Event Kits include 3 guaranteed Legend cards\, and the player may choose any Legends opened from their booster packs\, too. Legend cards may be any color\, regardless of which colors are in their deck. If the player sleeves their cards\, their Legend card sleeves must be visually different from their main deck sleeves.\n\nWhile not required\, we recommend the main deck includes at least 15 cards with a “sell tag\,” to make sure the player has enough resources to consistently play cards. (The sell tag is the €$ symbol in the top-left corner\, beneath the card’s cost.)\n\nOpened but unused cards act as a sideboard. Between matches\, a player may choose to sideboard by swapping cards from their deck with any other cards in their wider pool\, as long as they still follow all the deckbuilding rules outlined above.\n\n\n>>Format<<\nThis event will be run in a Swiss-style best-of-3 format. After deckbuilding\, players will be paired up against a new opponent each round until the event is over. This event is designed to be extremely casual to introduce all players to the game so everyone can learn the cards together. There is no official prizing for the event but Cyberpunk TCG products will be available to purchase.
