Early registration is open to our Weekly Play customers now through Monday\, June 24 @ 12:00pm. Entry is $29.99 + fees. You will receive your Prerelease Kit upon arrival for the event. Promos & packs will be distributed at the end of the event. This is a Sealed Play event. There will be one round of deckbuilding with your prerelease kit and three rounds of Swiss-tournament play.\n\nWhat is Sealed Play?The format of Prerelease events\, sealed play combines the limited card pool aspect of draft play with the more open-ended deckbuilding approach of constructed play. Like draft play\, everyone starts the event off on equal footing\, and like constructed play\, this format gives you the opportunity to let your deckbuilding skills shine.\n\nAt the beginning of a sealed play event\, you open six booster packs. You must use the cards within those packs to build a deck. Just like in draft play\, your minimum draw deck size is 30 cards\, and you can include any number of copies of a card as you want (so long as they were all acquired within those six booster packs). DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Star Wars: Unlimited Prerelease event for the new set\, Shadows of the Galaxy!\n\nThis event will take place on Thursday\, July 11 @ 5:00pm. Online registration is required to participate. General admission is on sale Tuesday\, June 25 @ 9:00am. Early registration is open to our Weekly Play customers now through Monday\, June 24 @ 12:00pm. Entry is $29.99 + fees. You will receive your Prerelease Kit upon arrival for the event. Promos & packs will be distributed at the end of the event. This is a Sealed Play event. There will be one round of deckbuilding with your prerelease kit and three rounds of Swiss-tournament play.\n\nWhat is Sealed Play?The format of Prerelease events\, sealed play combines the limited card pool aspect of draft play with the more open-ended deckbuilding approach of constructed play. Like draft play\, everyone starts the event off on equal footing\, and like constructed play\, this format gives you the opportunity to let your deckbuilding skills shine.\n\nAt the beginning of a sealed play event\, you open six booster packs. You must use the cards within those packs to build a deck. Just like in draft play\, your minimum draw deck size is 30 cards\, and you can include any number of copies of a card as you want (so long as they were all acquired within those six booster packs). Also like with draft\, you can use any common base you want\, regardless of what was in your packs. However\, if you want to use a rare base\, it must have been one of the cards from those six packs.\n\nFor leader cards\, you typically will only be able to use the ones from your packs\, just like with everything else. However\, for prerelease events in which you utilize a Prerelease Box\, the promo leader cards that come in that box are also available as options for your sealed deck.\n\nLike with draft\, you can change up the contents of your sealed play deck in between rounds as much as you like\, so long as you only utilize the cards that were in your six booster packs.\n\nThere you have it. Sealed play is fantastic for testing your deckbuilding skills while also growing your collection. And since prerelease events for each set feature this format\, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try out sealed play for yourself each time a new set comes along!\n\nPlease contact the store if you have any questions!

DESCRIPTION:You can become a champion! Join Diversions Puzzles & Games on Sunday\, July 14 for our Disney Lorcana: Ursula’s Return Set Championship!\n\nRegistration is $20 per person plus fees. Tickets will go on sale Friday\, June 14\, 9:00am on Eventbrite. Registration is online only. Limit 1 ticket purchased per person.\n\nThis tournament is in the Constructed (Core) format. Each player must bring one deck to the event which they have built ahead of time. Constructed decks must contain at least 60 cards. There is no maximum deck size\, but a player must be able to shuffle their deck in a timely manner without assistance. Constructed decks must not contain cards from more than two ink colors. For example\, if a deck contains Amber and Amethyst cards\, it must not contain any Emerald\, Ruby\, Sapphire\, or Steel cards. Constructed decks must not contain more than four of a single card as identified by its full English card name. Character cards with different subtitles are considered different cards for purposes of this rule. For example\, a deck may contain up to four copies of Ariel – On Human Legs as well as up to four copies of Ariel – Spectacular Singer. Cards from The First Chapter\, Rise of the Floodborn\, Into the Inklands\, and Ursula’s Return are legal for play in this tournament. You must use the same deck for the duration of the event. Decklist registration will be required. Please submit a hardcopy at the time of in-store check-in.\n\nThis is a Swiss-style tournament. Each round is 50-minutes in length and is played in a “best of 2” format. Playoffs are Best-of-3. The number of rounds in the tournament will be dependent on the number of attendees (4 or 5). Playoff rounds will be played after the Swiss rounds including players with the highest standings. The playoffs are single-elimination rounds until one undefeated player is remaining as the tournament champion.\n\n8 players: 3 rounds\, no cut9-16 players: 4 rounds\, cut to top 417-32 players: 5 rounds\, cut to top 8\n\n\nPrizing:An addition to the official prizing\, two booster packs will be included in the prize pool for each registered player in the event and distributed amongst the top 8 players.
