SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly Sunday booster draft event for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event by Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play. \nEntry for the event is $15.00\, three boosters and prize support. All players must have a DCI card\, which you can register for upon signing up. Please arrive 30 minutes early to register. The event lasts for four 45 minute rounds after drafting. \nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands. Basic lands are provided. \nAfter deckbuilding\, the players are randomly matched up against an opponent and play a best two out of three games match. Players are awarded points for winning and will be matched against equally skilled players in the subsequent rounds. At the end of the tournament\, booster packs or store credit are rewarded to the top half of the players. \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. Candy and drinks are available in the store for purchase. You may bring your own food but please dispose of your trash properly. Thank you!

DESCRIPTION:We want to step up our number of Keyforge events\, and it occured to us that a lot of players have their favorite decks\, however they don’t get to play with them often enough. Our goal is to gather a community of players\, find a day that works for many of them\, and get them together more often to play. \nThere will be a large Archon tournament at the end of every month\, as well as an occasional pop up Sealed Event every once in a while\, so keep checking on our events. \nFor open play\, we will have players keep track of their games played using these sheets: https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/75/78/7578dec4-bbc3-45fb-9c95-1450be2bb41f/g19k1_digitalsignup_ffg.pdf \nEvery 3 games played\, you get a monthly promo card given to us from Fantasy Flight. Leagues are open play mixed with tournaments\, where players buy in\, and we keep track of wins and losses throughout 3-4 weeks\, and the highest performing player(s) get prizes ranging from exclusive playmats to Diversions store credit.

SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly Sunday booster draft event for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event by Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play. \nEntry for the event is $15.00\, three boosters and prize support. All players must have a DCI card\, which you can register for upon signing up. Please arrive 30 minutes early to register. The event lasts for four 45 minute rounds after drafting. \nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands. Basic lands are provided. \nAfter deckbuilding\, the players are randomly matched up against an opponent and play a best two out of three games match. Players are awarded points for winning and will be matched against equally skilled players in the subsequent rounds. At the end of the tournament\, booster packs or store credit are rewarded to the top half of the players. \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. DESCRIPTION:We want to step up our number of Keyforge events\, and it occured to us that a lot of players have their favorite decks\, however they don’t get to play with them often enough. Leagues are open play mixed with tournaments\, where players buy in\, and we keep track of wins and losses throughout 3-4 weeks\, and the highest performing player(s) get prizes ranging from exclusive playmats to Diversions store credit.

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday is weekly board game night at Diversions Puzzles & Games in downtown Portsmouth! Join us and you can find new games to learn and play! We have a constantly updated game library which you may pick games from to play or you can bring your favorites from home! There is no shortage of games and if this is a new event for you\, you’re guaranteed to find a group who would be happy to teach you how to play a new game. \nThe most common games that are played on Tuesdays are light & heavy strategy games. Everything from Sushi Go! to Ticket to Ride to Scythe and everything in between and beyond! Everyone is welcome\, new & regular players alike. Drop in and leave at any time! \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. Candy and drinks are available in the store for purchase. You may bring your own food but please dispose of your trash properly. Thank you!

DESCRIPTION:Been craving some Dungeons & Dragons? Keep an eye out and sign up to join in on the fun here: https://warhorn.net/games/location?q=diversions\n(Pay attention to the Time and Date of each event you sign up for) \nUpdate: It is now a $4 entry fee. This will go toward our Dungeon Masters so they can keep these games going. \nWe’ll be posting events every week\, and each group will be continuing on in their quest. You can join in with whichever group you sign up with\, and carry on with the same character. Please sign up ahead of the event so the Dungeon Master of each group can be prepared. Each group is limited to it’s player count\, if you don’t sign up\, you might not be able to play with that group. \nWe follow some rules of Adventurer’s League\, including character building rules. This is not an Adventurer’s League event although we have found some of the same limitations beneficial. Deviation may be allowed\, as with all things adventuring related your Dungeon Master has the final say.
