SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly booster draft for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event through Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play! Players must pay and register in the store by 11:45AM.\n\n\n\nEntry for the event is $20\, three booster packss and one entry fee. All players must have a Wizards Account with a valid email address. You can create an account here: https://myaccounts.wizards.com/register\n\n\n\n\nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands. Basic lands are provided.\n\n\n\n\nAfter deckbuilding\, the players are randomly matched up against an opponent and play a best two out of three games match. Players are awarded points for winning and will be matched against equally skilled players in the subsequent rounds. DESCRIPTION:We’re hosting a Carcassonne tournament! Battle it out on the French Countryside during this Swiss-style\, non-elimination tournament. There is an entry fee of $5 per player\, and due to a limited number of seats\, we suggest registering ahead of time on EventBrite at https://tinyurl.com/d9vejb5f. If there are still seats available on the day of the event\, we will offer them on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \nThe winning player will receive a set of Meeple coasters\, an exclusive Diversions Carcassonne tile\, and a $20 Diversions gift card.\nIf you are new to Carcassonne\, no worries! This game is fairly easy to learn. Come by at 10:30am and we’ll do a quick teach so you can join the fun.

DESCRIPTION:Diversions Puzzles & Games – South Portland presents an Online Used Game Auction! This auction is completely online so you can participate anywhere at any time! The auction will be live from Friday\, July 29 at 12:00pm ET through Sunday\, July 31 at 6:00pm ET. Participation in the auction will be held on a third-party website and will be posted & shared via Facebook & e-mail on Friday\, July 29 at 12:00pm.\n\nSellers\nAll sellers must complete this submission form to sell games in the auction: https://forms.gle/S4DVYqCmG8ee42fJ8\nSeller submissions are limited to 25 items per household (expansions bundled with a game are okay). Any forms received in excess of the 25 Item limit will be disregarded. Once the form is complete\, sellers may drop off their games at Diversions in South Portland between Monday\, June 13 and Sunday\, June 26. Sellers will receive Diversions store credit for each game of theirs which sold at the highest paid bid. Credit earned from the auction sales cannot be used on other games within the auction as we will not issue sellers’ credit until all payments have been collected.\n\n\nBidders\nGames in the auction will have a minimum starting bid determined by the seller. New bids must be submitted in whole dollar amounts with a minimum increase of $1.00. Each game will have one photo with corresponding details about the game including the condition of the game and any extras/add-ons. Sellers may not bid on their own games. All bids are final\, be prepared to pay for any bid you submit. Please bid at your own risk. While we have required all games to be complete without missing or damaged pieces\, we cannot verify any details about the contents of the game. We cannot field questions about the contents or conditions of individual games. There are too many games and too few resources to honor these requests\, unfortunately.\n\nWinning bidders will be contacted within one week after the auction ends with an itemized list of your wins and the total amount due. Games must be paid for in full by credit card through our Shopify – Invoices will be emailed to the winners. Discounts\, coupons\, gift cards\, store credit\, and rewards are ineligible when purchasing your winnings. All purchased games must be picked up at Diversions in South Portland\, ME by Sunday\, August 21. We cannot ship or transfer any games bought in the Used Game Auction. SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly booster draft for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event through Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play! Players must pay and register in the store by 11:45AM.\n\n\n\nEntry for the event is $20\, three booster packss and one entry fee. All players must have a Wizards Account with a valid email address. You can create an account here: https://myaccounts.wizards.com/register\n\n\n\n\nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands.
