SUMMARY:Star Wars: Unlimited: A Lawless Time Planetary Qualifier (Waitlist Open)
DESCRIPTION:You can be a champion! Join us on Saturday\, May 9\, 2026 for a Star Wars: Unlimited Planetary Qualifier! This tournament starts at 10:00am. This is a sanctioned competitive-level event. The event will allow a maximum of 46 players.\n\n\n>>Registration & Check-In<<\nPlayers must purchase a ticket on Eventbrite to register ($45.00 + Eventbrite fees). Tickets will be on sale Wednesday\, March 4 at 12:00pm ET. Your Melee.gg e-mail address will be required upon purchase. You can set a reminder through this link:\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/1983983918307\n\nPlayers will be added to the Melee tournament page by the organizer after purchasing their ticket. Ticket cancellations/refunds will be permitted through Thursday\, May 7. Eventbrite fees cannot be refunded. There will be no refunds after May 7.\n\nA waitlist will open once all tickets have been sold. If you are interested in a ticket add yourself to the waitlist on Eventbrite and look out for an email if a ticket is released. Once the ticket is released\, you will have 48 hours to claim it before it moves onto the next person.\n\nCheck-in is on the day of the event\, Saturday May 9 from 9:00-9:45am. A decklist must be uploaded onto Melee before the tournament begins.\n\n\n>>Format<<\nThis is a Swiss-style tournament\, played in Best-of-3 format. Each round is 55-minutes in length. Top cut/playoff rounds will be played after the Swiss rounds including the players with the highest standings. The playoffs are best-of-3\, single-elimination rounds until one undefeated player is remaining as the tournament champion. Each top cut round is 75 minutes. The finals match is untimed.\n\nWith 46 players\, there will be six (6) Swiss rounds & Top 8 playoff cut. There will be a lunch break between rounds three and four.\n\n\n>>Prizing<<\nThe following prize structure is based on a full turnout of 46 players. The prizing is separated into official prizing & store prizing. Whether a Weekly Play event is a short tournament or a simple\, casual gathering is up to each individual store; all that matters is that participating stores have a night each week where you and your friends can stop in to play some Star Wars: Unlimited.
