SUMMARY:Mystic Vale Havens Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Presenting the Mystic Vale Havens Event! This tournament maxes out at 8 players\, and the price for each player is $10. If you are interested in participating\, please contact us ahead of time. Seats may fill up quickly. \nThis tournament event is a special one. Not only will players walk away with card sleeves and special promo cards for their game\, but everyone will get to participate in a series of 3 games that will carry over between one another. Including keeping specific cards in your deck between games. There are 2 promo packs of each type of market card that every player will get to keep. As well as 2 playmats\, one for the winner\, and one to be raffled off. \nNot only are there promo items for participating\, some items above are also used throughout the event. First everybody will open their pack of sleeves and resleeve their starting deck. Then there will be “Haven” cards set up at each table(7 per game). When you buy a Haven card\, put it in a new sleeve and it stays in your deck for the rest of the event\, and you also keep it after the tournament. \nHaven cards are double sided\, and at the beginning of each game\, they start on its weaker side. You purchase during the harvest phase to flip them over. If you buy an advancement for your haven card (if the card allows it)\, you keep it there for the entirety of the tournament. Advancements are only on the advanced side of the card\, so you have to pay to unlock it during future games. \nAfter every game\, your victory point total will be saved. We will total up the sum of every game\, and that will decide final placements. For every game you win\, you get 15 bonus points added to that score. \nThe 2 players with the highest over all score after 3 games\, will play one final 2 player showdown\, and the winner will get the last of the haven cards that weren’t purchased throughout every game. \nWe have a rulebook that includes clarifications of different cards\, as well as lore of the Havens. More rules of these new cards and of this event can be found out during the tournament\, or by contacting us at any time.

SUMMARY:Smash Up Tournament: Titans Kit
DESCRIPTION:Hello Smash Up fans! Join us for a tournament of “shufflebuilding and awesomeness!” \nIn this event kit\, we have 8 titans promo card packs. 1 very large Playmat\, and Acrylic Tokens with a large Token Bag. \nPlayers who compete in this tournament will be gifted these promo card packs after the event. Multiple members of a friend/family group are welcome to participate\, however we will give out only one pack per group/family to whomever owns a copy of the game. If multiple have a copy that’s fine too\, we just want to ensure every owner can get a pack. We will make a list during sign ups for who would like to receive a pack. \nThe winner\, shall receive the large playmat.\nThe tokens and bag shall be raffled off to another lucky player. \nThis will be a 3 game round robin tournament where we will split players into groups of 3-4 players. Every player will be able to play all 3 rounds of games. The final round will have the top 4 players battle it out. \nYour scores between games will be summed up to decide on your positioning after every round of games. If you win a game\, you will also get 5 bonus points added to this sum. At the end of the tournament\, the player with the highest overall sum wins! \nIf you happen to have your own game/collection of smash up\, we would appreciate it if you allowed us to use it during the tournament\, since we only have 1 copy of the base game in our demo library. \nWe have not yet decided on any limitations/rulings for how players will create their factions and what factions are allowed and what are not. Stay tuned for more details. We will likely limit the characters and components to only those who appear in the original release of the game. Players will draft their factions\, based off of a random first player selection\, and that player will get first and last pick for their deck. \nIf there are any questions\, please let us know by commenting below\, or by messaging/calling our store. SUMMARY:Star Wars: Destiny Monthly Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Diversions Puzzles & Games is hosting a Star Wars: Destiny tournament! Entry for the event is $3.00 per person which will be used for prize support at the end of the tournament\, unless the tournament is supported by a tournament kit. \nThis event will be a Swiss-style tournament playing over 3-4 rounds depending on the number of players. Each round will consist of one game played between players with a time limit of 35 minutes. \nEach player must bring their own constructed deck\, dice and tokens to use for play. Each player must build one team of characters and a deck to use in a tournament. A team of characters must include at least one character and cannot exceed 30 points\, though it may contain fewer than 30 points. A player may choose to field heroes or villains\, but cannot have both on his or her team. Each deck must contain exactly 30 cards. Each player must also select exactly one battlefield. Players must use the same team\, deck\, and battlefield for the duration of the tournament. \nFor most tournaments prize support will be given out at the end of the tournament in the form of store credit or Star Wars: Destiny booster packs (while supplies last). The prize support value will be 1:1 for the number of entries distributed to the top half of the final standings. \nPrize materials from Fantasy Flight Games tournament kits will be given out during tournaments specifically supported by a kit.\n1st place: 10 tokens\, 1 limited promo card\, 1 participation promo card\n2nd & 3rd place: 1 limited promo card\, 1 participation promo card\nRemaining players: 1 participation promo card \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. Candy and drinks are available in the store for purchase. You may bring your own food but please dispose of your trash properly. DESCRIPTION:Diversions Puzzles & Games is hosting a Star Wars: Destiny tournament! Entry for the event is $3.00 per person which will be used for prize support at the end of the tournament\, unless the tournament is supported by a tournament kit. \nThis event will be a Swiss-style tournament playing over 3-4 rounds depending on the number of players. Each round will consist of one game played between players with a time limit of 35 minutes. \nEach player must bring their own constructed deck\, dice and tokens to use for play. Each player must build one team of characters and a deck to use in a tournament. A team of characters must include at least one character and cannot exceed 30 points\, though it may contain fewer than 30 points. A player may choose to field heroes or villains\, but cannot have both on his or her team. Each deck must contain exactly 30 cards. Each player must also select exactly one battlefield. Players must use the same team\, deck\, and battlefield for the duration of the tournament. \nFor most tournaments prize support will be given out at the end of the tournament in the form of store credit or Star Wars: Destiny booster packs (while supplies last). The prize support value will be 1:1 for the number of entries distributed to the top half of the final standings. \nPrize materials from Fantasy Flight Games tournament kits will be given out during tournaments specifically supported by a kit.\n1st place: 10 tokens\, 1 limited promo card\, 1 participation promo card\n2nd & 3rd place: 1 limited promo card\, 1 participation promo card\nRemaining players: 1 participation promo card \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm.
