SUMMARY:Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly Sunday booster draft event for Magic: Gathering. This is a sanctioned event by Wizards of the Coast. All players\, beginners and seasoned are welcome to come play. \nEntry for the event is $15.00\, three boosters and prize support. All players must have a DCI card\, which you can register for upon signing up. Please arrive 30 minutes early to register. The event lasts for four 45 minute rounds after drafting. \nIn a booster draft\, players are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack\, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards face down to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her\, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are selected. The process is repeated with the second and third packs\, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they choose. Each deck built this way must have a minimum of 40 cards\, including basic lands. Basic lands are provided. \nAfter deckbuilding\, the players are randomly matched up against an opponent and play a best two out of three games match. Players are awarded points for winning and will be matched against equally skilled players in the subsequent rounds. At the end of the tournament\, booster packs or store credit are rewarded to the top half of the players. \nParking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store for $1.50/hour\, with meters operating until 8:00pm. Candy and drinks are available in the store for purchase. You may bring your own food but please dispose of your trash properly. Thank you!

DESCRIPTION:Been craving some Dungeons & Dragons? Keep an eye out and sign up to join in on the fun here: https://warhorn.net/games/location?q=diversions \nIt is a $4 entry fee to participate. This will go toward our Dungeon Masters so they can keep hosting games and be able to afford more content. \nThis event is for any and all adventurers alike. Brand new players as well as experienced players are invited to participate. This is a good way to learn the game\, as well as a place to enjoy the game for anyone who hasn’t been in a group for a while. \nWe’ll be posting events every week\, and each group will be continuing on in their quest. You can join in with whichever group you sign up with\, and carry on with the same character. Please sign up ahead of the event so the Dungeon Master of each group can be prepared. Each group is limited to it’s player count\, if you don’t sign up\, you might not be able to play with that group. \nWe follow some of the rules of Adventurer’s League\, including character building rules. This is not an Adventurer’s League event although we have found some of the same limitations beneficial. Deviation may be allowed\, as with all things adventuring related your Dungeon Master has the final say. See below for how to sign up. \nD&D Adventurers League is a weekly event at Diversions\, featuring an ongoing campaign or one shot adventures for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons rules/ Players use the rules to create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening. \nAs a player\, all you need to do is make a character and show up and play (with dice)! Character creation is easy. You’ll need either a Player’s Handbook or a copy of the D&D Basic Rules\, and a D&D Adventurers League character logsheet. Pre-generated character sheets can be provided if you wish to not build your own character.
