DESCRIPTION:Been craving some Dungeons & Dragons? Keep an eye out and sign up to join in on the fun here: https://warhorn.net/games/location?q=diversions \nIt is a $4 entry fee to participate. This will go toward our Dungeon Masters so they can keep hosting games and be able to afford more content. \nThis event is for any and all adventurers alike. Brand new players as well as experienced players are invited to participate. This is a good way to learn the game\, as well as a place to enjoy the game for anyone who hasn’t been in a group for a while. \nWe’ll be posting events every week\, and each group will be continuing on in their quest. You can join in with whichever group you sign up with\, and carry on with the same character. Please sign up ahead of the event so the Dungeon Master of each group can be prepared. Each group is limited to it’s player count\, if you don’t sign up\, you might not be able to play with that group. \nWe follow some of the rules of Adventurer’s League\, including character building rules. This is not an Adventurer’s League event although we have found some of the same limitations beneficial. Deviation may be allowed\, as with all things adventuring related your Dungeon Master has the final say. That’s what we’ll find out this Winter! \nOver consecutive weeks starting from January 29 to March 30\, Maine Public will take to some of Maine’s best brew pubs and test you on current events\, news items\, and all around things you probably should know! \nTeams of no more than six persons each assemble\, but you can play with fewer\, or come alone and find a team to join. Maine Public staff will host each game\, reading out questions around public broadcasting-centric categories (All Things Considered\, Find Your Hidden Brain\, Marketplace Musings\, I See Your Ten and Raise You!\, and more!). \nWinning teams get bragging rights\, gift certificates\, custom Maine Public mason jars\, and sometimes additional prizes\, depending on the venue. See below for how to sign up. \nD&D Adventurers League is a weekly event at Diversions\, featuring an ongoing campaign or one shot adventures for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons rules/ Players use the rules to create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening. \nAs a player\, all you need to do is make a character and show up and play (with dice)! Character creation is easy. You’ll need either a Player’s Handbook or a copy of the D&D Basic Rules\, and a D&D Adventurers League character logsheet. Pre-generated character sheets can be provided if you wish to not build your own character. Basic rules and character sheets can be found here: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/character_sheets \nSign ups for the event are facilitated through Warhorn.net. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special puzzle event with Ravensburger! This event is free to attend (pre-registration is required\, please see below).\n\n\n \n\n\nThis puzzle competition will pit teams of two against other teams to complete a 500-piece Ravensburger puzzle with the fastest time. However\, there’s a catch: no teams will have knowledge of the image that is being used – you have to complete the puzzle without an image for reference!\n\n\n \n\n\nPrizes will be awarded to the first\, second\, and third place teams\, based on the fastest times for completing the puzzle.
